July 8  •  LIVINGSTONE, Zambia--Day Stop

Transfer to the airport and board the Lakani Private Jet bound for Victoria Falls via Livingstone, Zambia.  View the majestic falls by helicopter on a scenic flight over the Zambezi River and National Park, before continuing to Chobe, Botswana by local charter flight.

July 8 - 11  •  LINYANTI, Botswana--Wilderness DumaTau

Board your jet and local flight to your next destination in Botswana, and the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, home to Africa’s highest density of elephants.  With camera and binoculars in hand, you will join your ranger guide for morning and afternoon game drives.  Your guide will point out colorful frogs, kingfishers and host of fauna and flora.  You may also join a helicopter flight over the Linyanti River floodplain and Savuti Channel, an experience you’ll not soon forget in which you will see the expanse of the delta and see the abundance of wildlife from the sky.

July 11 - 14  •  SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK, Tanzania--Wilderness Usawa Northern Hills

Depart Botswana by Private Jet to Mwanza, Tanzania.  Upon arrival, take a short flight by chartered light aircraft to the world famous Serengeti National Park.  The open plains spread out as far as the eye can see, so it’s no surprise that the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai language meaning “endless plains”.

Morning and afternoon game drives by safari vehicles with sunrise and sundowner stops.  You will also have an opportunity to partake in stargazing with talks about the beautiful African sky.

Serengeti is also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th worldwide wonder; the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe and thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.  The spectacular of predator versus prey dominates Tanzania’s greatest park.  Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers.

July 14 - 17  •  SOSSUSVLEI, Namibia--&Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge

Board the local charter flight back to Mwanza where we will connect with the Lakani Private Jet and fly to Windhoek, capital of Namibia.  There you will transfer to a private charter flight bound for Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert.  Gaze at the large red dunes, some of the highest in the world, that surrounds the salt and clay pan in the Namib-Naukluft National Park.  You’ll see them from your luxury accommodations at the lodge.

Explore the area on guided walks, nature drives, and by quad-bikes.  View San rock paintings and petrified dunes.  Discover Sesriem Canyon and Dead Vlei on excursions.  Float above the spectacular dunes in a helicopter to see the various hues from orange to terra cotta that tower over the vast, dry pan.  Join the resident astronomer for an evening of unforgettable stargazing at the state-of-the-art observatory.

July 17 - 20  •  TSWALU, KALAHARI, South Africa--The Motse

Board your Lakani Private Jet and head to Johannesburg, South Africa where you will connect with our local charter flight to the largest private game reserve, the Tswalu Kalahari.  Encounter Kalahari’s wildlife on game drives that take you to Tswalu’s diverse habitats that include rolling dunes, semi-arid grassland, and the Korannaberg mountain range, providing shelter and increasing the biodiversity as well as creating a splendid scenic backdrop.

An early morning visit to Tswalu’s habituated meerkats to see them in their natural habitat is an unforgettable encounter.  You’ll have an opportunity to get within a few feet of one family group to watch them pop in and out of their burrows, stand tall, groom and play with each other, soak up the sunshine, and forage in the sand for tasty morsels.  Here you will also have an opportunity to see other more elusive species in Africa, namely aardvark, pangolin and bat-eared fox.

On your final night bid farewell to your fellow travelers at a cocktail and dinner party.
