Oslo, Norway – September 1-3 – Welcome to our 2017 Europe Rediscovered Luxury Tour by Private Jet! Our adventuresome group of jet-setters have all arrived here in the Viking Capital of Norway, ready for two full weeks of high culture, fine dining, and luxurious travel experiences.
The excitement began right away as we all got to know each other over dinner and cocktails at our Welcome Reception. After making new friends, we set off in the morning for a sightseeing tour around Oslo. The first stop, Vigeland Sculpture Park, is home to a large collection of artwork by renown Norwegian artist, Gustav Vigeland. With more than 200 sculptures, Vigeland Park is the world’s largest sculpture park made by a single artist.
We continued to see the City Hall (host of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony), National Theater, Royal Residence, Munch Museum, and Akershus, a medieval castle that has been used both as a palace and as a prison.
Our afternoon cruise in the Oslo Fjord gave us the opportunity to relax in luxury while we viewed Oslo from the water. After landing, we toured the new Opera House, culture award winner at the 2008 World Architecture Festival.
After our exhilarating begining, it is difficult to say goodbye to Oslo, however, excitement is high as we board our private jet to travel in comfort and style to our next location, Bucharest.
