DAYS 1 – 2 • Zurich, SWITZERLAND---Widder Hotel

Explore Zurich and enjoy a walking tour through the historic Old Town, including the Grossmünster with its twin towers, the symbol of the city, Fraumunster with stained glass windows by Giacometti and Chagall, and the elevated square of Lindenhof that provides views of the city and remnants of Roman history. Tour the famous Bahnhofstrasse shopping street and the Schipfe artisan street in one of the city’s oldest districts at the river Limmat. Travel by boat on Lake Zurich to Rapperswil to take in the wealth of natural beauty along the Lake of Zurich before touring the well-kept medieval city. Meals: 1B

DAYS 3 – 5 • Interlaken---Grand Hotel Victoria Jungfrau

Travel through the verdant Emmental Valley to witness cheese production and sample local favorites before reaching the idyllic resort town of Interlaken. Day 4, spend a full day enjoying Jungfraujoch (13, 643 ft.), the imposing nucleus of the Bernese Alps – ride on the highest railway in Europe and visit the Ice Palace and the Sphinx Terraces. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the largest river of ice in Europe.

Enjoy a full day excursion to medieval Berne, Switzerland’s capital city, and tour this UNESCO site’s architecture and atmosphere. Meals: 3B 2L

DAYS 6 – 9 • Lucerne & Depart Home---Hotel Schweizerhof

Explore the picture-perfect city of Lucerne whose well-preserved and distinctive confluence of nature and architecture has been carefully developed over centuries. A walking tour of this city includes the iconic Chapel Bridge, the Italian Renaissance Town Hall, the Lion Monument and the Hof Church, Lucerne’s main cathedral. Then relish a melt-in-your-mouth private visit of a chocolate-making facility.

Visit 7,000 foot high Mount Pilatus that includes a private boat cruise on crystal-clear Lake Lucerne, a ride on the steepest rack railway in the world, and an aerial cable car ride over sweeping pine forests and mountain meadows. Day 9, transfer back to Zurich for your departing flight. Meals: 4B 1L
