DAYS 1 – 2 • Kathmandu, NEPAL---Dwarika's Hotel

On arrival in Kathmandu you will be met for transfer to your hotel and to begin your tour in the unique and fascinating capital of the Royal Kingdom of Nepal. It is a deeply spiritual land isolated by the high Himalayas. Visit Durbar Square where the city’s kings were once crowned, legitimized and from where they ruled. See the traditional heart of the old town with its spectacular architecture. Visit Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient residential quarters and temples, and the 2,500 year old site of Swayambhunath. Take a memorable one hour flight-seeing journey above the Himalayan peaks with a great aerial view of majestic Mr. Everest (weather permitting). Visit the temples of Pashupatinath, Bhaktapur and Boudhanath to see one of the world’s largest stupas. Meals: B

DAYS 3 – 4 • Kathmandu / Pokhara---Temple Tree Resort & Spa

Take a flight to Pokhara – an area of spectacular scenery with snowy peaks and serene lakes with surrounding greenery making it the jewel of the Himalayas. Tour the city of Pokhara and visit Bindhyabasini, one of the oldest temples in the Pokkhara Valley. Take a boat ride on Phewa Lake, encircled by Sarangkot and Kaskikot hills, and holding a pagoda style temple. Excursion to Sarangkot with panoramic view of the Annapurna Himalaya. Meals: B

DAYS 5 – 8 • Pokhara / Chitwan National Park / Kathmandu & Depart Home---Taj Meghauli Serai/Dwarika's Hotel

Spend two days in Chitwan National Park, famous as one of the best wildlife viewing national parks in Asia. There are opportunities to see horned rhinos, deer, monkeys and some 450 species of birds. If lucky you may see leopards, wild elephants, sloth bears or the elusive Bengal tiger. Learn about the Asia elephant and take an elephant safari through the jungle. Take a morning walk through the jungle with an experienced naturalist to learn about the flora and fauna or explore the park in an open-air jeep safari for animal viewing. On day 7 return to Kathmandu for an overnight then on day 8 transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Meals: BLD
