DAY 1 • Casablanca, MOROCCO---Four Seasons Casablanca
On arrival in Casablanca you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight before leaving the next day to begin your tour of Morocco.
DAYS 2 – 3 • Rabat / Meknes / Volubilis / Fes---Palais Faraj Suites & Spa
Depart Casablanca for Fes with sightseeing en route in Rabat, the political capital of Morocco and the fourth of the Imperial Cities. Visit the old Medina, the Kasbah and Oudayas Gate. Drive to Meknes, the third of the Imperial Cities; Moulay Idriss, the Holy City and center of pilgrimage; and Volubilis with its imposing Roman ruins. Visit the Olive press, the House of Orpheus, the Basilica, the Forum, and the House of Venus.
In Fes, a two thousand year old Imperial City, you will walk the labyrinth of the ancient and amazing Fes Medina and Mellah. See the Kairaouine Mosque, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the colorful Souk es Sabbaghine with its Street of Dyers, the Al- Qarawiyyin Mosque and University and Al-Attarine Madrasa. Stop at the Royal Palace. Meals: B
DAY 4 • Merzouga---Merzouga Luxury Desert Camp
Depart Fes to drive through the Atlas Mountains and the town of Erfoud to the astonishing, towering sand dunes of Erg Chebbi and your luxury desert camp. The dunes provide an idyllic setting for your nomadic oasis experience under the desert sky. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset and an authentic Moroccan dinner under the stars. Meals: B, D
DAY 5 • Ouarzazate---Le Berbere Palace
Today head west past the rocky landscapes of the Todra and Dades Gorges, through the Dades Valley to Ouarzazate on the edge of the Sahara. Complete with palm trees, sandy streets and buildings that look like the desert itself, this former French Foreign Legion outpost is the Morocco of many movies. Meals: B
DAYS 6 – 9 • Marrakech & Depart Home---Four Seasons Marrakech
Depart Ouarzazate, stopping for lunch at Richard Branson’s Kasbah Tamadot before continuing to Marrakech to complete your journey through Morocco. In Marrakech visit the Menara Gardens, the Museum of Islamic Art, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace and Almoravid Koubba. Continue to the Marrakech Museum of Art and tour the Dyers’ Souk when visiting Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. Meals: B
