DAY 1  •  Bangkok, THAILAND---Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel

On arrival in Bangkok you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a brief overnight before continuing your journey to Bhutan.

DAYS 2 – 3  •  Bangkok / Paro / Thimpu---Taj Tashi

Fly to Paro and transfer to Thimpu. Visit a Nunnery outside Thimpu, then continue to the School of Arts and Crafts, followed by a stop at the Textile Museum, the Heritage Museum, Changangkha Lhakhang (temple), national Library, Traditional Hospital and see how paper is made from the daphne plant with cosmos flower petals and other plants. Visit Tashichho Dzong. Meals: BLD

DAYS 4 & 5  •  Thimpu / Punakha---COMO Uma Punakha

Drive to Punakha en route stopping at Dochu LaPass to see the eastern Himalayas.  Visit Khamsum Yuley Namgay Chorten, Sonagasa and Punakha Dzong. The Dzong was damaged by flood, earthquake and then several times by fire, and was rebuilt each time to its original grandeur. The Dzong houses the most sacred relics of the Drukpa Kagyu School including the Rangjung Kasarpani. Meals: BLD

DAYS 6 – 7  •  Punakha / Paro---COMO Uma Paro

Drive to Paro to visit the old watch tower Ta Dzong, now a national museum, and the Rinpung Dzong. Take an excursion to the Taktsang Palphug Monastery, often referred to as “Tiger’s Nest”. It is one of the most venerated and famous monasteries in Bhutan and is an impressive sight not to be missed. Meals: BLD

DAYS 8 – 9  •  Paro / Bangkok & Depart Home---Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel

Fly to Bangkok for an overnight prior to your return flight home. Meals: B
