DAYS 1 – 2  •  Bangkok, THAILAND---Novotel Bangkok Hotel

On arrival in Bangkok you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Meals: B

DAYS 3 – 4  •  Bangkok / Paro / Thimpu---Taj Tashi

Fly to Paro and transfer to Thimpu. Visit a Nunnery outside Thimpu. Visit the School of Arts and Crafts, followed by a visit to Textile Museum, the Heritage Museum, Changgangkha Lhakhang (temple), national Library, Traditional Hospital and see how paper is made from the daphne plant with cosmos flower petals and other plants. Visit Tashichho Dzong. Meals: BLD

DAY 5  •  Thimpu / Punakha---Uma By Como Punakha

Drive to Punakha en route stopping at Dochu LaPass to see the eastern Himalayas. There will be an options for a short trek. Visit Khamsum Yuley Namgay Chorten, Sonagasa and Punakha Dzong. The Dzong was damaged by flood, earthquake and several times by fire, and it was rebuilt each time to its original grandeur. The Dzong houses the most sacred relics of the Krukpa Kagyu School including the Rangjung Kasarpani. Meals: BLD

DAYS 6 – 7  •  Punakha / Paro---Uma By Como Paro

Drive to Paro via Thimpu. Tour Paro to visit the old watch tower Ta Dzong, now a national museum, and the Rinphung Dzong. Take an excursion to the Taktsang Pelphung Monastery, often referred to as “Tiger’s Nest”. It is one of the most venerated and famous monasteries in Bhutan, and it is an impressive and Must See site to visit. Meals: BLD

DAYS 8 – 9  •  Paro / Bangkok---Novotel Bangkok Hotel

Return to Bangkok for an overnight prior to your return flight home or to your next destination with many fond memories of this region. Meals: B
