July 13 - 15 • ANJAJAVY, Madagascar -- Anjajavy Le Lodge

Depart Johannesburg aboard the Lakani Private Jet and fly northeast to Anjajavy, Madagascar. The fourth largest island in the world is situated off the southeast coast of Africa. Archeological evidence shows that the island has been inhabited since 2000 BC. It was ruled as the Kingdom of Madagascar until its collapse in 1897 when it was absorbed into the French colonial empire. The island gained independence in 1960 and is now a constitutional democracy.

Having developed in islolation, the island nation is famous for its unique wildlife and is considered a biodiversity hotspot. Most of all flora and fauna species found in Madagascar are endemic, including the lemurs for which it is known.
