Friday, June 3 - Sunday, June 5, 2022  •  Moscow -- Four Seasons Hotel

Arrive Moscow International Airport where you will be provided with VIP arrival assistance, met by a private English-speaking guide and transferred to your hotel located just steps from Red Square. Meet your fellow travelers and Lakani Tour Manager at a welcome cocktail and dinner party.

Discover the highlights of Moscow beginning with its famous Red Square, just outside the Kremlin Walls, iconic St. Basil’s Cathedral, the History Museum, and the GUM department store. See the 16th century New Maiden Convent, and then head to the Kremlin, where you find cathedrals, Patriarch’s Palace, Grand Kremlin Palace, and the Armory Chamber with many treasures including the famous Fabergé eggs. Learn about Russian art at the impressive State Tretyakov Gallery. Enter the beautiful Church of St. Nicholas where you will be treated to a private acapella concert. Monday, June 6 & Tuesday, June 7  •  Golden Ring & Suzdal -- Pushkarskaya Sloboda

Discover historic monasteries and churches in medieval towns along the famous Golden Ring of Russia. Begin with Sergiev Posad, often called the Russian Vatican. Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius is the most important Russian monastery and the spiritual center of the Russian Orthodox Church. See beautiful frescoes and icons at Trinity Cathedral. Continue to Suzdal, home to over one hundred historic monuments. Tour the Suzdal Kremlin, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Open-Air Museum of Wooden Architecture and the Saviour Monastery of St. Euthymius. Drive to Vladimir, founded in the 990’s on the banks of the Klyazma River by Prince Vladimir. There you will see the modest Cathedral of St. Dmitry, the Golden Gate and excellent frescoes in Assumption Cathedral, inspiration for the Cathedral of the same name in the Kremlin.

Wednesday, June 8 - Saturday, June 11   •  St. Petersburg -- Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace

Journey to the rail station in Moscow and board a high-speed train to St. Petersburg. Admire the impressive art exhibits at the world-renowned Hermitage Museum before the doors are open for the public; your tour includes the Winter Palace, a former residence of the Russian Tsars. Visit the Peter and Paul Fortress with the landmark gold spire of the Cathedral rising from the center. Admire the stunning interior and exterior of St. Isaacs’s Cathedral and the highlights of the city. Enjoy a visit of the Grand Palace before the public opening of the magnificent Peterhof’s palaces, fountains and parks. Delight in a privately guided tour of the world’s largest Fabergé collection at Shuvalov Palace. Take in an evening performance and exit the theater into the still light skies of the northern summer.

Take a short drive to charming Pushkin and home of Catherine Palace. Observe Russian artisans turning amber stones into art forms in the Amber Room workshop. After a luxurious lunch in a historic mansion, return to St. Petersburg and board a private boat for a delightful cruise on the canals for a different perspective of the city.
