Saturday, Jul 30 - Sunday, Jul 31, 2022  •  Nairobi, KENYA -- Hemingways Hotel

JAMBO, and welcome to Nairobi, Kenya’s capital on the equator. You are met on arrival and transferred by private car to your hotel. Meet your fellow travelers and Lakani Tour Manager at a welcome cocktail and dinner party.

Visit the nearby Karen Blixen home and museum, as well as Giraffe Centre to have an opportunity to feed the giraffes.

Monday, Aug 1 - Wednesday, Aug 3  •  Meru National Park, NORTHERN KENYA -- Elsa's Kopje

Our private luxury charter flight brings us easily to the northern arid wildlife territory. Starting our safari adventures in this unspoiled wildlife ecosystem made famous by Joy and George Adamson with “Elsa” and her “Born Free” pride of lions. Fed by the small rivers pouring off Mt. Kenya, this dry land habitat is home to all of Africa’s “Big 5” species as well as some of Kenya’s unique endemic desert species.

Thursday, Aug 4 - Saturday, Aug 6  •  Ol Jogi Wildlife Conservancy, KENYA -- Ol Jogi

A short luxury private charter flight brings us onto the magnificent 90,000 acres private wildlife ranch conservancy of Ol Jogi. The most valuable treasure of Ol Jogi is the amount of wildlife, especially the highly endangered black rhino, resides here amid natural habitat. Daily safari game drives and (optional) bush walks bring you into close proximity with wildlife. The unique aspect of night game driving to see nocturnal animals. An exciting feature is the underground tunnel from the lodge to the nearby watering hole bringing you just a few feet from a herd of buffalo drinking, or endangered rhino, as well as giraffe and antelope. To see their skin marks and hear their breath all while being in complete safety and enjoying your favorite cocktail.

Sunday, Aug 7 - Wednesday, Aug 10  •  Maasai Mara Game Reserve, WESTERN KENYA -- Governor's Il Moran Tented Camp

Across the dramatic Rift Valley, our luxury scenic private aircraft brings us to the northern Serengeti plains of Maasai Mara, midyear “home” of the annual Great Migrations of wildebeests and zebra. The world’s greatest wildlife spectacle. Along with all the magnificent ‘Big 5’ animals, the Maasai Mara enthralls all. Staying in our luxurious tented camp along the banks of the Mara River and including a unique early morning Hot Air Balloon Safari makes for a great ending to this exciting journey.

Thursday, Aug 11  •  Nairobi, KENYA -- Hemingways Hotel Day Room

An easy private charter flight back to Nairobi. Check into our hotel and after lunch, partake in some last minute shopping or just relax and repack for the flight home. KWAHERI to Kenya.

Hemingways Hotel  •  Nairobi, KENYA

Away from the hustle & bustle of downtown Nairobi, in the elegant suburb of Karen (named for Karen Blixen), on the edge of the Nairobi National Park and at the foot of the Ngong Hills, Hemingways is an elegant exclusive boutique hotel. Beautiful gardens, verandah terraces,
a pool and spa are all yours to enjoy. Executive Suite.

Elsa's Kopje  •  Meru National Park

Award winning Elsa’s Kopje (the Dutch Boer name for rocky hill) is one of the most authentic East African eco-bush lodges. A most unique and comfortable sanctuary above the arid dry plains. Entirely solar powered as a camp, the classic safari cottages offer amazing views across Africa. Upon this cool “kopje” is where often George and Joy Adamson made their camp with Elsa and her offspring. Cottages.

Ol Jogi  •  Ol Jogi Wildlife Conservancy

As a luxurious home built over two decades, entirely for family and friends visits, Ol Jogi is one of the most exclusive accommodation experiences on the African continent. Situated on one of the largest and most scenically beautiful private wildlife conservancies in East Africa looking directly toward dramatic Mount Kenya. This is a “gem” of a design masterpiece with very unique luxury and style. Cottages.

Governor's Il Moran Tented Camp  •  Maasai Mara

Situated along the banks of Kenya’s renowned Mara River, in the heart of the Maasai Mara, these massive tented suites with full bath tubs and separate showers take the concept of “glamping” to an entirely different level. Elephants and hippo stroll through the camp both day and night, as well as the cheeky monkeys and mongoose. Tented Suites.
