Friday, April 4 - Sunday, April 6, 2021  •  Tokyo -- The Peninsula Hotel

Arrive at Narita International Airport, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Visit Odaiba, a high-tech entertainment hub on an artificial island in Tokyo Bay, and explore the worlds first and largest digital art museum. Explore some of the most historic and iconic locations throughout Tokyo, including Meiji Shrine, the Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon Temple, the Ginza District, and Ueno Park.

Monday, April 7  •  Kamakura/Hakone -- Gora Kadan Ryokan

Travel to Kamakura and see the Great Bronze Buddha and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. Continue to Hakone, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon cruise on Lake Ashi, followed by a gondola ride over the Owakudani Boiling Valley.

Tuesday, April 8 - Friday, April 11  •  Kyoto -- The Ritz Carlton Kyoto

Take the famous bullet train to Kyoto. Experience a tea ceremony and learn about kimonos when visiting a private home. Tour the Ukiyo-E Museum. See the beautiful cherry blossoms throughout the city and environs, including Kinkakuji Temple and Maruyama Park.

Our full day sightseeing of Kyoto will include visits to the Bamboo Grove and Togetsukyo Bridge in Arashiyama District. We will also have a chance to visit Tenryuji Temple, Golden Pavilion and Nishiki Market. Visit Miho Museum, designed by I.M.Pei, which has a collection of fascinating Japanese artwork, this museum truly embodies a real-world Shangri-La.

Enjoy an excursion to Nara, where we will see free-roaming deer, Todaiji Temple and Kasuga Shrine. Delight in a festive Japanese dinner with Geisha entertainment.

Saturday, April 12 - Monday, April 14  •  Homeward Bound or Hiroshima Extension -- The Sheraton Grand Hotel Hiroshima

Hiroshima bound travelers board the bullet train, arriving in time for lunch. Begin sightseeing in Hiroshima this afternoon with visits to the International Peace Park, Atomic Bomb Dome and Museum, and Hiroshima Castle.

Journey to Miyajima Island to see the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Itsukushima Shrine, the iconic floating Torii Gate, 5-Story Pagoda, and Treasure house. Share your memories of Japan with newfound friends and tour manager at a farewell dinner in a beautiful garden restaurant. You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight home.
