Saturday, July 27, 2019  •  Copenhagen, DENMARK

You will be met in Copenhagen and transferred to your hotel. Tour the harbor aboard a former royal yacht before a festive welcome dinner.

Sunday, July 28 - Tuesday, July 30  •  Vejle, DENMARK

Visit the Viking Ships’ Museum in Roskilde, see the Viking fortress of Trelleborg, and explore the house of Hans Christian Andersen. Continue to southeast Jutland to Vejle. Venture into the valley and see the Viking center of Jelling with its runic stones and museum. Take a look at an art project in a former gravel pit. Enjoy a scenic cruise through Lillebaelt to Kolding for lunch.

Wednesday, July 31 - Friday, August 2  •  Kirkwall, ORKNEY ISLANDS

Fly by private plane to Aalborg for a look at the Viking burial site on Lindholm Hoje and a delightful local lunch. Continue to Kirkwall and learn about its heritage on a city tour. Spend a day touring the Orkneys, including the Standing Stones of Stenness, Ring of Brodgar, Skara Brae, Yesnaby, Brough of Birsay, and Maeshowe – in the Heart of the Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Site. Take an excursion south to the southern isles and Scapa Flow, one of the world’s largest natural harbors. Visit the historic Highland Park Distillery for a tour and tasting.

Saturday, August 3 - Monday, August 5  •  SHETLANDS / FAROE ISLANDS

Board the flight to Sumburgh, Shetlands to see the 4,000 year-old Jarlshof Archaeological site. After lunch, continue on the plane to Vagar in the Faroe Islands. Visit Viking ruins at Kvivik and take a boat tour along the coast lined with bird cliffs and grottoes. Walk the quaint town of Skansin and enjoy time exploring in the region.

Tuesday, August 6 - Friday, August 9  •  Edinburgh, SCOTLAND

Continue on the charter plane to Edinburgh and discover the city on an inspirational panoramic tour. Enjoy a fabulous performance of the world-famous Royal Military Tattoo. Walk the red carpet as you board the Royal Yacht Britannia for a private tour followed by tea and scones. Bid farewell to newfound friends as you are transferred to the airport for your flight home or onward destination.
