Cannes, France & Monte Carlo, Monaco – September 12 – 14 – Although our tour would soon be coming to an end, we were all very excited to be arriving at the beautiful blue seas of the French Riviera. Our flight over was made extra special with the celebration of two of our travelers’ birthdays. After landing, we found our new home at the luxurious InterContinental Carlton Cannes, a fantastic building in the heart of the city known for its annual movie festival, and as a prime destination for the rich and famous.
Cannes looked all the more gorgeous from the ocean as we made our way to St. Tropez in our luxury private yacht. All along the way were famous beaches and the hidden villas of celebrities who love to escape the limelight and relax in paradise.
Once back on ground, it was time to take a tour of the city. Ready to travel to Monaco in style, we jumped into our 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s style classic cars. Our private chauffeurs made it easy to navigate the streets and see the wonderful sights of Monte Carlo. As we drove around in our convertibles, we saw the marvelous architecture of the city as we breathed in the sea air of the coast.
The evening held for us an amazing out-door farewell party. As we shared our stories over food and cocktails, the sun set over Europe. It was difficult to say goodbye to the friends that we made but we will all have lifelong memories of experiences we shared. Thank you to everyone for making this such a special trip. We must part ways for now, but we hope to see you again on any of our adventures around the world.
